What we do

We are a female-led, mother-focussed organisation guided by Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) principles. We want to help you embed those principles in your organisation.

Cinemamas is passionate about creating an inclusive culture in film & TV. We help production teams, individuals, companies and studios to adopt a more people-focused approach. We want to improve the way we work as an industry. We do this by offering practical tools and training. Our work is structured around a holistic approach that focuses on wellbeing, people management, instilling confidence and ensuring EDI is embedded.

Why us?

Cinemamas is a partnership of Valeria Bullo and Aline Harjani. We have both worked in physical production for over two decades and returned to the industry as working mothers. We have been supporting parents since 2019, changed career paths and focused on making the industry more inclusive.

Through our services, we are offering our clients tailored programmes of 1:1 coaching, resource creation and training designed to support businesses and productions to create inclusive working environments, where optimised leadership helps retain and support talent.

Having worked with key industry organisations such as the Film & TV Charity and Film London over recent years, we have been part of huge industry initiatives and training programmes aimed at moving the needle in the UK screen industries. We work with our clients to co-create a better, stronger and healthier workforce by transforming how people think and feel at work. Whether it's a one-off question, a workshop, a short-term project or hosting a panel - we can help.

Areas of expertise

Just like all of us, every production, company and studio is different. This is why we focus on offering a bespoke approach to every request. We can provide resource creation such as toolkits, guidelines and frameworks. We offer masterclasses, 1:1 sessions and training in the following areas: return to work, flexible work, coaching, mediation, talent retention, confidence, wellbeing and resilience, leadership and management.

Our services can be delivered in English, Spanish and Italian.
