Drop-in session: EFT Tapping with Denise Hanrahan

Feeling overwhelmed? Take a lunchtime moment to actively lower your anxiety, stress and worry.  Join Denise Hanrahan for an EFT tapping circle.

Denise Hanrahan is an Film/HETV Production professional with many years in the industry, working across the Production office, Construction dept and in-house at Twickenham Studios.  Having worked on films across a range of budgets, countries and sizes, Denise has experienced first hand the pressures on crew and the burn out that is nearly guaranteed.

Denise is now a qualified EFT Practitioner and excited to bring the power of tapping to crew.

The parent/carer juggle is real and work/life balance often feels like some magical land other people visit! What can we do to actively feel better at this moment in time in the industry. There is worry about being present for family if you’re working, worry if you’re not working. And the summer holidays are about to hit! EFT tapping is proven to lower cortisol, calm that nervous system fire and help to dissolve blocks in our thinking.

Let’s take 45 minutes and tune into how we feel right here, right now. Denise will guide you through a group tapping session, where we will tap on acupoints on the head and upper body, working through our stress and overwhelm.  If you’re new to Tapping, it’s a lovely introduction to this amazing somatic modality.

Virtual boundaries: thoughts and tips for our new working lives with Sam Jukes-Adams

Sam headshot (no arrows).png

We can safely say that the virtual world has made its own space in all of our homes. Living digitally is here to stay, exhaust us and, yes-ok, help us out with work-from-home environments. Our Cinemamas HQ resides in our bedrooms , kitchens and living rooms.

In this session, accredited Executive coach and a certified Mental Health First Aider, Sam Jukes-Adams will talk to us about how to navigate living life digitally, from setting the frame so we feel present with people, to managing expectations around how much time we can sustain, and using different platforms for different experiences, so we get to also feel like ‘we’re going somewhere’ for work, friends, family etc…

As we start thinking about what life will look like after lockdown we realise that many have totally blurred the lines between work life and home life.

Everyone has transitioned to working virtually and remotely but are we really the most out of zoom? Are there ways of using zoom better?

Sam talks to us about redefining work-life boundaries but also looking at how to set boundaries and recognise when you’ve had enough. We explore this from a personal and professional perspective.
